
Jon Russell has served as a Town Councilman in Culpeper, Virginia, since 2014 and has built a career centered on public service, community leadership, and education. He is the former Chief of Staff for Spotsylvania County Public Schools and former Senior Advisor to the Virginia Superintendent of Public Instruction at the Virginia Department of Education. Russell is the owner of Culpeper Rodeo Company and Kelly Street Boxing Club, Chairman of the Libertas Foundation of America, and holds a bachelor's degree in Homeland Security from Thomas Edison State University. He is a graduate of the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership at the University of Virginia, has contributed research and policy work with the Aspen Institute, State Policy Network, and the American Legislative Exchange Council, and is an alumnus of the American Council of Young Political Leaders. Above all, he values faith, family, and community, serving alongside his wife, Sarah, as they raise their four children.

Owner of Libertas Integrative Health in Culpeper, VA. Graduating in 2004, Sarah has specialized in alternative medicine, bio-identical hormone replacement, endocrinology, and emergency medicine. She is passionate about finding the root causes of health conditions and treating that cause so that patients can live healthy lives and be their best selves! She has over 7 years of emergency medicine experience and 18 years of urgent and family practice care. From newborns to the elderly, Sarah seeks to be engaged and personal with each patient to help them reach their health goals. Sarah is wife to Jon Russell and homeschools her 4 children. She enjoys hiking, cooking, gardening, reading and playing music on piano or guitar. With a Christian worldview, Sarah’s first priority is to love God and through Him to love others. She desires to serve as a medical missionary locally and abroad.

Clarissa Mae Fleming is a fiduciary financial advisor, educator, and community leader with more than 14 years of experience helping individuals, families, and small businesses build financial confidence. She is passionate about making financial planning understandable and accessible, with a special focus on serving military, government, and first responder families. As founder of the Making $ Make Sense community, Clarissa is dedicated to empowering others through education and practical guidance. A lifelong resident of Culpeper, Virginia, she is active in her church and local community. Clarissa and her husband, Rusty, have four children and are proud grandparents to their grandson, Nicholas.

Catie Venable is the co-owner and operations manager of Able Heating & Air, a family-owned HVAC company serving Culpeper and the surrounding region. With nearly three decades of experience in customer service, business administration, and operations, she has helped grow the company into one of the area's trusted providers of residential and commercial heating and cooling solutions. A Virginia licensed contractor with an associate degree in business management, Venable is committed to exceptional customer service, developing a strong team culture, and investing in the Culpeper community through local business and civic involvement.

Kim Canavan is a lifelong Culpeper resident whose deep roots in the community have shaped both her personal and professional journey. Her career as a systems consultant took her across the country, where she worked with government agencies and major corporations to develop practical solutions to complex operational challenges. Her first consulting contract was with the State of Alaska, launching a career dedicated to improving organizational performance through strategic problem-solving.
After spending several years in Florida, Kim returned home to Culpeper to care for her mother. Returning to the community where she was raised has given her a renewed appreciation for Culpeper's character, traditions, and potential. She brings a unique perspective that combines national professional experience with a lifelong commitment to her hometown and a passion for helping shape its future.
